Blue-ringed octopus

The blue ringed octopus is extremely amazing!

It can be totally camouflaged one moment and the next it will show those fierce blue rings.

The  blue ringed octopus lives among rockpools where it can use its sand coloured skin and camouflage.

It shows its blue rings when it feels annoyed or threatend.

It will eat crabs, shrimp, small fish and some molluscs.

I saw one in a rocky overhang at about a metre deep at Murrays beach in Jervis Bay.
