The cale has a long, skinny shape. Their colour is black with two light blue stripes on their tales and they have yellow eyes.

They have five fins, two on their belly, one on their back and on each side of them.

They live in rocky-seaweedy places. They also like to dart everywhere. I saw two of them at Jervis Bay they were darting

around in seaweed. They feed on little animals in the weed, like crabs and crustaceans.
