The Grey nurse shark can be up to about 3.2 metres long. It is an oval shape and its colours are grey and white. It has several rows of curved teeth.
It lives in deep warm subtropical waters.
They live in little packs. It is harmless and often found in daytime. Little fish swim around grey nurse sharks in case something that they can eat falls off it.
It eats trevally, bony fish, other sharks and many rays.
It is rare. It is protected in Australia. When eggs are laid, the first shark that hatches inside the mother's body will eat all the other eggs.
