LOGGERHED TURTLE

Page history last edited by lclarke@... 7 mos ago

The logger head turtle has an oval shaped  head. Their  front flippers are shaped like bananas with ridges. Their back fins are oval with some bumps. Their shell is oval and the logger head turtles can be black, brown and white. They camouflage well.

The logger head turtle sleeps in caves or on rocks. They lay their eggs on shore.

The logger head turtle is very shy and they swim with their flippers.

These turtles are omnivores which means they eat meat and plants, but this type of turtle eats smaller fish and sea jellies. One of their life threatening dangers is when they are babies they can get eaten. THEIR BITES HURT.
