LONG-SNOUTED BOARFISH

The long-snouted boarfish is very interesting.

It is largish with big pointy fins.Its adult size is about 51cm .

It has four or five stripes and lots of scales.

The colour is silver with black stripes

 

Its habittat is on the rocky reef and in the mud.

It moves with its fins and tail.

This  fish lives alone not in schools.

This fish is omnivirorous and eats worms,crustaceans,echinoderms and algae.

It is occurs in waters around reefs below ten metres.
