The red morwong has an oval shape body and can grow as big as 65 cm.

You can recognise a red morwong by its big eyes, reddish brown colour and silver on its belly.

It lives in rocky reefs and sea grass meadows.

The red morwong iws one of the laziest fish. It spends most of its day on the ocean floor looking like a fish on a plate and only goes out to feed in the morning and the night.

Its food is molluscs which it sucks off with its rubbery lips.

The red morwongs' depth range is 3 to 40 ft.
