It’s shape is like a star. They have many colours but this biscuit star is orange and yellow, and a bit red.

Sea stars live in many habitats including rock pools, sea grass and sandy sea bottoms.

They are echinoderms. Echinoderms have rows of small tube-shaped feet on the underside of their bodies.

They eat plants. Some eat animals and some eat  tiny animals
.

When it catches prey, a sea star pushes its stomach through its mouth to cover and digest the food.
