Senator Wrasse can grow up to 22cm long. The male is much more attractive than the female. The
female only has fine blue lines and specs. The male has red and yellow stripes and has a green body.
The senator lives in rocky reefs in amongst the seaweed In water the depths of 3 to 25 meters.
They live in NSW, VIC, TAS, SA and WA. They live in very small groups and sometimes they swim to divers.
They eat carnivores, crustaceans and worms. They are not harmful to humans and are in no danger.
The senator wrass was very coulorful. It swam up to me.
