The yellowtails have a yellow tail (obviously), silver body and are about 30 cm long!
They are easy to see because their tails stand out.
They usually are near rocky reefs or jetties. They move a lot and are found in large schools.
They eat other fish and crustaceans.
The yellowtail's scientific name is Trachurus Novaezelandiae Richardson.
